Whether you’re brand new or have been dancing for years, there’s a place for you on our team.

At orientation, we’ll assess your current skill level and recommend the best classes to take over the summer so you’re fully prepared when choreography begins in September.

Our four incredible instructors—Sydney, Alex, Laureen, and Sebastian—aren’t just teachers. They actively perform, compete, and social dance throughout the Latin dance community. They’ll make sure you feel confident, prepared, and stage-ready when it’s time to shine.

Whether you’re joining a shines team, partnering team, duet, or solo, you’ll have the opportunity to perform and/or compete at the Calgary Salsa Congress in March 2026 or the Canada Salsa & Bachata Congress in Toronto on October 2026.

During your session, every movement and technique is clearly explained, with real-time feedback targeted to your specific areas for improvement. You’ll know exactly what to practice, why it matters, and how to improve faster.

Salsa, Bachata, and Fusion Performance Teams

Unleash your inner performer and take your dancing beyond the studio. Our Salsa, Bachata, and Fusion teams are designed for every level. From dancers who simply want the team experience (no performance required), to performers, to competitive dancers.
No matter where you are in your dance journey, we’ll challenge you, support you, and prepare you for the stage at a pace that matches your goals.
Dancers with prior experience who are interested in performing and competing will begin with local showcases, then progress to national competitions, with opportunities to advance to the international stage.
Whether your goal is to perform locally, compete at a high level, or grow as a dancer while being part of a motivated, supportive team—this is your place.

Our family of Instructors

Our instructors have years of experience in their respective disciplines. This experience includes years of training, performing, competing, and teaching. Our founders Sydney Espinoza, Alex, and Laureen Espinoza have competed at the World Latin Dance Cup and the World Salsa Summit, and the Ultimate Latin Dance Championship! They continuously train and are dedicated educators who are passionate about teaching, mentoring, and inspiring the next generation of dancers. 

You will see our instructor’s social dancing and performing at various events in Edmonton and the surrounding area! They are regular staples at On the rocks Edmonton, one of the city’s running salsa events. We love what we do! So if you are out in the city and see us, ask us to dance! We love meeting new people and sharing what we love to do!
